Brighter Smile is a family and cosmetic dental practice on Marine Drive, led by Dr. Farhad Goshtasby Ardekani. The team includes an endodontist and a periodontist, so most treatment is completed here rather than referred elsewhere.
Dr. Farhad Goshtasby Ardekani qualified at Tehran University in 1991 and has been practising ever since, more than three decades behind the chair, with families who have followed him for twenty years and now bring their own children in.
Brighter Smile opened on Marine Drive in North Vancouver to put that experience in one place, alongside colleagues who go deeper than a general practice usually can: Dr. Behdad Moslehi, an endodontist who has spent 25 years saving teeth other dentists would extract, and Dr. Pouran Rostamian, a periodontist and UBC clinical instructor who performs the gum surgery and implant work in-house.

Graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1992 and completed a specialty program in endodontics in 1998. More than 25 years focused on root canal therapy and restorative dentistry. Passed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada in 2016. Where another dentist may say extraction is the only option, he will go out of his way to save the tooth.
Periodontist · Gum Surgery & Implants
Registered with the College of Dental Surgeons since 1999 and a clinical instructor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry. Over 25 years of experience in periodontal surgery, periodontal treatment, oral surgery, and dental implants. Outside the clinic she holds a long-standing interest in archaeology and ancient history.
